This system uses intuitive software to help our physicians determine your appropriate treatment with full-color, 3-D Acuity Maps® and difference maps. First, the WaveScan System captures the wavefront, maps the aberrations, and automatically records picture quality for custom treatment. This information provides our surgical team 3-D maps of acuity, higher-order aberrations, along with the captured eye image. Finally, the design function provides a visualization of the calculated ablation depth and the eye image allowing our surgeons the ability to easily make adjustments that produce fully customized treatment plans for our patients.
