At Morris Eye Group, we accept both Medical and Vision Insurance Plans. Vision insurance generally covers a patient once a year for a vision exam which is the vision test to generate a glasses prescription and possible coverage of materials (i.e. glasses and/or contact lenses). Medical insurance is also used for eye exams but for disease screening, imaging/ ocular pictures, and any medical testing that a patient may need.
We are In-Network providers for most Blue Cross PPO and Blue Shield PPO plans; however, for those with Blue Shield or Blue Cross Covered California or Exchange PPO plans we are considered out-of-network for those specific plans and accept out-of-network benefits for those specific plans. We are considered in-network for all other Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO plans. For specific questions please call our office and we will do our best to advise.

Vision Care Plans:
If you do not see your plan listed above, please contact our office to find out if we can accept your insurance. Insurance co-pays are due upon your visit.
It is your responsibility to know what your insurance plan covers and does not cover. Also remember that “coverage” does not always mean “payment.” Many times there are deductibles or copayments that must be paid on your part before your insurance company will pay anything.
