Morris Eye Group is currently taking new patients. If you are looking for a friendly practice that offers the most up to date technology, has over twenty years of experience, and takes most insurance plans, then you have come to the right place!
Morris Eye Group is known throughout San Diego County as the leader in eye care. We are a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice with over 20 years of service to our patients and the community. We have two Ophthalmologists, as well as five full time Optometrists on hand to help you with all of your eye care needs. We offer all three services related to the eye: ophthalmology, optometry and opticianry.
Both of our two North County locations, Encinitas and Oceanside, offer comprehensive eye care and an in-office Laser Vision Correction Center. Patients can receive a variety of services at Morris Eye Group, including routine eye exams for eyeglasses or contacts, medical care for eye conditions such as glaucoma, Cosmetic Treatments, surgery for Cataracts, Laser Vision Correction (LASIK or PRK), Refractive Lens Exchange, and Internal Collamer Lenses (ICL). In fact, Dr. Morris, who has performed more than 10,000 laser and intraocular surgeries, is the first surgeon in San Diego County to be certified in internal collamer lens implantation (ICL).
We have two large optical shops with over 5,000 frames to choose from including several children’s frames. Our knowledgeable opticians are here to advise you on frames, lenses, contact lenses and other options.
Morris Eye Group offers flexible hours from early morning appointments to early evening.
The office is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.
The doctors at Morris Eye Group participate in many insurance plans including PPOs, Medicare, Tri-Care, and select HMOs. In addition to medical insurance we also take vision insurance including, VSP, Eyemed, Compbenefits, Medical Eye Services and Optum Health (previously called Spectera). When you call to make an appointment, please have your medical and vision insurance information available.
